Private Moments (SUPERMAN VS BATMAN) by ProjectCornDog Private Moments (SUPERMAN VS BATMAN) by ProjectCornDog
In the Dark Knight Returns Pt. 2, as Superman just learned that Batman could have KILLED him at anytime and that he went "easy", Bruce chillingly says the following: "I wanted you to remember that. I wanted to remind you to stay out of my way. In all the years to come in your most private moments..I want you to remember the one man who beat you. "

Batman and Superman has been allies for years and their final encounter was one that would decide both their fates. Not as allies, but as enemies. With news of the Superman-Batman movie confirmed and with a release date in 2015 I felt it was the perfect time to make this.

Batman vs Superman is one of the most legendary matches in comic books, period. Can one man beat the Man of Steel? Can a mere moral beat a man who can withstand nuclear weapons?

Enjoy and feel free to include your input on the work, the upcoming Batman vs Superman movie, or the fight in general!

Sorry, i just heard not in the piece of shit version. Let me put it like this, he took a pill that stopped his heart, just in case. he counted with the help of green arrow, a kryptonite arrow, an atom bomb that left a very, very weak superman, and do you think that old hag would have the balls to say that to the man that is "faster than a speeding bullet" and  "stronger than a train" ? And before you say "but batman won" Superman wasn't the one that ended in a grave anyways

its been established that with enough time to plan batman can defeat anyone. His ability to discard morality makes him a deadly opponent and superman once said " Batman is the most dangerous man on the planet..." and has defeated all the members of the justice league single handed. has also stated that the moment he met most of the members of the justice league he devised detailed plans to bring them down if ever there came a time when he needed too.

actually the dark knight returns part 2 is a shameful misinterpretation of ending of the graphic novel and frank miller's take on the characters of superman and batman  ...

Frank Miller's Superman Doesn't need to learn that batman can kill him.. the guy is a paranoid who lives under the Constanta fear of his own power and that the world one they may decide to get rid of him and rest of all his friends and heroes.. superman was the only thing between batman and sniper bullet to the brain from part of the government .. all superman is trying to do in novel is trying to save Bruce is life.. to the point he doesn't even try to fight even thought we can clearly see in the graphic novel that he could rip off the mech suit from bruce like if it was just a paper bag.. heck  he doesn't even defend himself when Bruce start beating the shit out him when the old man bring kryptonite to the game because he is too scare of giving the old man a heart attack

the whole fight between batman an superman is a joke.. sueprman doesn't try to fight and batman can''t win or come up from it alive fro the sake of the country

the whole point of the graphic novel was that batman and superman's way of doing things was wrong..it end up back backfiring at them.. batman end up becoming a symbol of anarchy that threat to tear apart the country in moment crisis when it was at the middle of a war and superman end up becoming a tool because the world whose freedom he choose to respect run itself in its own stupidity into world war 3

Hahaha no I was just joking around, if someone has an opinion I want to hear it! As long as it's articulated well at least, something you did just fine. You raise some good points, although I will say this. There have been stated times in the comics where Superman knows Batman is a formidable opponent, Batman's plans have been used to defeat Superman (Justice League: DOOM or Tower of Babel).

Well let's just remember a few things:

1) The military practically had the place surrounded.
2) Many many people were watching.

Superman had no intentions of letting Batman go that night. While I'm sure he preferred that Bruce survived (he does consider him a friend and someone he respects, that and he's Superman), he knew the risks going in and even mentions it when talking to the president.

Technically, Superman could have randomly appeared, catching Wayne off guard quickly and subdue him. I understand that in most scenarios, Superman can beat Batman when he wants. However, Superman had enough respect for him to allow him to prepare and have a battleground that was equal to everyone involved. What Batman tells Superman is nevertheless true, he is able to synthesize kryptonite to lethal doses. For a man, that's a pretty big accomplishment and a situation arose created by himself that Batman could have killed him.

That, and this is just a fun piece from an avid fan excited about the Superman-Batman movie. In the movie, at least from what we can decipher it looks like Batman is actually going to fight Superman. I think it's awesome they are going to attempt to do that in a live-action movie, and I'm thrilled to see how they intend on pulling it off.
